Yes. The HALO is designed to sit with the natural curvature of the head. If you have other extensions, simply section out where the HALO would sit before applying, and adjust your natural hair around the Miracle Wire. Your stylist will help you find the best way to install and wear the HALO with your other extensions during your initial appointment.

Our HALO extensions are custom-fit to sit on top of your head like a halo. The Miracle Wire sits about an inch to three inches behind your hairline and the back of the hair extensions slides down just under the occipital bone. The fit will be snug and comfortable, ensuring no movement of the HALO extension. After you gently pull your hair out and over to cover the extension, including the miracle wire, the weight of your hair lying on top will keep it secure and in place. You will be able to shake your head without your extensions sliding around or coming off.

The perfect HALO fit will feel snug and comfortable, ensuring no movement of the HALO extension. During your installation appointment, your stylist will custom fit your HALO to your head. However, if you find that your HALO is moving around, or feeling too loose, your Miracle Wire will need to be adjusted to ensure your extensions are not sitting too low or too high on your head. Locate the hooks at the inside seem of your HALO and try moving it one closer on each side. Try it on to check the fit and repeat this step until it feels comfortable. If you’re still having trouble, contact your stylist.

The perfect HALO fit will feel snug and comfortable and will ensure no movement of the HALO extension. During your installation appointment, your stylist will custom fit your HALO to your head. Placing the wire on the first 3 loops is ideal. If your hooks are on the loops towards the middle of the weft, the weft can sometimes bunch or buckle. If this is the case, we recommend custom fitting the wire for the most comfortable and secure fit. This can be done by cutting the wire shorter, reknotting, and moving the wire to the first or second loop. We recommend contacting your stylist to help with customizing the wire, especially if it needs to be trimmed.

Place the Miracle Wire further back on your scalp to relieve tension. If you’re wearing a Layered HALO, because of the extra volume, it can weigh heavier on the scalp. If it begins to bother you throughout the day, you will need to move the wire a quarter of an inch back and adjust the hair around it to relieve tension.

Occasionally, the HALO wire may break, which is normal. Every HALO shipped has an additional set of wires in the box. We also sell additional wires in bulk for a nominal fee. If you need a new wire, reach out to your stylist.

The Original HALO is ideal for adding natural volume and effortless length up to 4 inches. It is equivalent to a full head of hair and is ideal for thin to medium hair. The Layered HALO delivers maximum volume and is ideal for medium to thick hair or adding maximum volume to medium to thin hair. The Layered HALO can be used to add more than 4 inches of length. The built-in layers blend seamlessly with the natural hair whether you have hair that is all one length or short, blunt, or traveling layers. Your stylist will help you understand which HALO is best for your hair during your consultation or initial installation appointment.
